Pharmacists and technicians complete tasks within their competence and agreed scope. Medical decisions, complex cases and prescription authorisation sit with the GP. All clinicians follow your organisation's clinical governance and procedures.
How clinical governance works →How does delivery start?
We agree the workload, scope, system access, escalation routes and reporting with you, complete clinician checks and induction, then start delivery. Progress is reviewed with you regularly.
Ways to commission →Why choose BCS?
BCS is a truly bespoke clinical services partner. We support 50+ PCNs and 300+ GP practices with 150+ clinical pharmacists, delivered from two hubs in Halifax and London. Every clinician is backed by our management layer, structured training, clinical supervision and quality assurance, and activity is reported clearly through the BCS Impact Dashboard.
How is it funded?
GP sessions are not ARRS roles in the usual sense. They are typically funded from practice budgets, PCN funding or any separate practice-level GP reimbursement arrangements that apply to your organisation.
